The HazOff campaign ran in 2012 and 2013. Hundreds of events organisers, suppliers and individuals supported the campaign having experienced the chaos and futility of this pointless habit. It was universally accepted by industry professionals within a few months and the habit of asking people to turn their hazard lights on stopped within a year on all the UK's major festivals. The website had done its job and was taken down. Some smaller events have yet to adopt the policy which is why this site has been resurrected.
